It’s 9 pm, and I sit down on my couch and think: “Where have all the hours of this day gone? If you finish your day, week or month with the same feeling, you need to watch these 3 TEDx Talks about time management. With the tips I got from them, I finally feel in control of my time and I’m getting more sh#$% done!

1. How to gain control of your free time | Laura Vanderkam

This video was viewed more than 5 million times. I must have watched it more than five times, and recommended it for at least three people. Laura Veanderkam is a time management and productivity researcher. In 2015, she analyzed 1001 days in the lives of women with demanding careers and children at home,
and published the book  I Know How She Does It: How Successful Women Make the Most of Their Time. In this video, she offers a number of practical strategies for finding more time for what matters to us, so we can “build the lives we want in the time we’ve got.

2. An End to Procrastination | Archana Murthy

As Archana was talking about writing her essay, I saw myself many times in that situation, with time management issues. If there’s something that ruins my day, it’s procrastination. She brings an interesting perspective about tasks and rewards.

3. How to motivate yourself to change your behavior | Tali Sharot

As I have shared with you an interesting TEDx specific about procrastination, I would like to suggest one that doesn’t talk just about procrastination but a broader topic: how to change behaviours.Because if you change unhelpful behaviour

(procrastination, for example) you can improve your time management. Tali Sharot is a neuroscientist at University College London, and her research focuses on how emotion, motivation, and social factors influence our expectations, decisions, and memories.

Have you already tried some of these techniques of time management? I would love to hear how that went for you.
